On the palate it is clean and refreshing with a hint of razor-sharp citrus. Tusker was first brewed back in the early twenties by the Hurst Brothers, co-founders of Kenya Breweries. One of the brothers was tragically killed by a rogue elephant, thus the lager was renamed to Tusker in commemoration of George’s death.
